YOU CAN BE YES AND VOTED LEAVE

I got involved in Scottish Politics in 2014 with the independence campaign and the European Elections that followed shortly after. During the independence campaign I had ran social media for a pro-Yes group. But later in 2016 - I voted Leave.

I would argue that as a Yes voter and a Leave voter, I can continue to support Yes as I believe the conditions on Scotland economy are more autonomous in the EU than the UK. I also appeared on BBC Scotland’s debate night programme having to explain my position. It was memorable because soon after, I graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Aberdeen.

Personally, I would say to Leave voting Scots - what the UK gov has done is not a successful Brexit.

Scotland’s future relationship with the European Union can only be decided by the people of Scotland as they should decide whether it’s full EU membership, EFTA, divergence from the EU or a brand new approach entirely.

My story from 2014 to now has been adventurous and provides a good standing for Scots who voted leave to show that they can support Yes and they are more than welcome to do so with open arms.
