IN 2014 I FELT WE WERE BETTER OFF AS PART OF THE UK

In 2014 I felt that we were better off as part of the UK, primarily because the economic arguments for independence weren’t hugely convincing, and because I believed we were better off in the UK and in the EU.

I changed my mind for a number of reasons. I see a widening gap between the social responsibility of Scotland and rUK.

I see the Scottish Parliament as a more modern and progressive government to the archaic and chaotic House of Commons at Westminster.

I think we have a better option to become independent and rejoin the EU, with all the benefits that come with it.

As a country we could gain immeasurably from being a centre of excellence for research where English universities once led.

I would Vote Yes tomorrow if the Vote was held.
