THEY FOOLED ME ONCE - I WON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN

I voted No in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. Why? At the time I was living and working in Portugal and I was promised by the Better Together campaign that the only way I can continue to enjoy Freedom of Movement via EU membership was to vote No.

Voting Yes would result in Scotland being thrown out of the EU and its citizens losing such rights.

Having lived and worked in four different EU countries and with my hard-working and now retired parents enjoying their well-deserved retirement in Spain, Freedom of Movement is vitally important to me and my family.

I voted Remain in the 2016 EU Independence Referendum for the same reasons as above.

Now, having voted to retain my EU citizenship and all the rights that brings, I now find myself potentially losing such rights due to the same people and political parties who warned against it throughout the 2014 campaign.

I was passionately against Independence in 2014 to the point that people who know me are/ will be shocked to discover that I now support Scottish Independence.

Like many, many others, I was lied to by the Westminster Government and pro-Union campaigners. They have fooled me once; I will not be fooled again.

I will be passionately supporting Scottish Independence when the time comes.
