MAJOR IMPACT OF BREXIT ON OPINIONS ABOUT SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE
As Brexit continues to dominate public debate across the United Kingdom, it is having a clear impact on attitudes in Scotland about a new independence referendum. In a new large scale poll of 2,032 people aged over 16 in Scotland by Survation for Progress Scotland 55% of respondents believe that another independence referendum is likely in the next two years, while only 35% believe it is unlikely.

PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR YES/NO INDYREF QUESTION
As momentum grows for Indyref 2, a new poll has shown overwhelming public support for the same question to be used as 2014: ‘Should Scotland become an independent country?' The results are the first to be released from a new large-scale poll conducted by Survation for Progress Scotland.

Progress Scotland has published its first round of focus group findings which show a dominant negative view of the current Brexit climate and Tory leadership contest amongst voters in Scotland who are open-minded or undecided about Scottish independence.
